Green Hellebore Pack
PACK'S LORE
(wip) Keep in mind that some wolves mentioned in the lore are not yet in the pack or are not dead (for example Olive and Nezha are not dead in the game but in the lore they are). Also, WARNING, contains mentions of death, sacrifices etc. Oh also my writing in English isn't the best and it was hard to write everything down in a different language, so please forgive me if I made any spelling mistakes or anything like that.
A lone wolf stepped into the mountains. He looked around and immediately decided to start a new pack on this terrain. The surroundings were beautiful – big lakes with clear water, many healthy animals and lots of herbs created a perfect place to live in.
His name was Nezha – the first king of the Green Hellebore Pack. Who would have thought that a lazy and arrogant wolf like him could lead a powerful, large pack?
Things went down after Nezha and his mate Olive were lured into an unknown pack and sacrificed during their ritual.
They took them to a dark forest, a forest we had never seen before. We were all scared so much that we could not move. He [Prince Logan] told us to run and so we did. Only Omen stayed with him.
I [Frostpup] took control of the pack. It was hard because everyone suddenly got an unknown illness, and I did not have anyone to help. Wolves kept dying, there was no food or herbs left and everyone was terrified. Right when I thought it was going to be the end, a beautiful wolf stumbled upon our pack. We were saved by her. She was our only hope.
If only I knew who she really was before I gave her the throne. I was so naive and desperate. She was one of them. And she wanted to brainwash us. I tried to warn them [the rest of the pack] but they did not listen. I took Omen's and Logan's adopted daughter [Lupine] and ran away so she could not catch us.
Soon after the royals died, a strange wolf named Lilith appeared. She was the embodiment of perfection – beautiful, kind, powerful and intelligent. She had no flaws (red flag lol). It did not surprise anyone that Frostpup let her become Green Hellebore Pack's new leader. Lilith showed her bad side very quickly. She introduced the wolves to a religion, where they had to treat her like a God. She started a new culture, a new era of the Green Hellebore Pack.
Why did the wolves trust her? Why did Frostpup run away? The answer is simple – Frostpup was the only wolf who survived the ritual. She recognized it when Lilith was teaching her followers about it. And Lilith is a good manipulator. She also made the unknown pack join the Green Hellebore Pack to make her more believable.
