The Ephemeral Gloom Pack

A pack who walk in the space between the living and the dead, challenging mortality and what it truly means to be living. Many members of the pack only sustain minor changes- always carrying the scent of damp earth on their fur or howling in tones unlike the average wolf- but certain wolves from the territory can develop much more bizarre quirks. If you walk far enough into the misty land they call home, you may see wolves with wings like those of birds wrapping around their heads, or ribs exposed as vines wind among the bones. They shouldn't be alive, but they are, be it by blessing, curse, or divine will. Despite their peculiar and at times morbid appearances and mannerisms, the Gloom wolves are known as a compassionate, friendly pack, welcoming travelers and greeting them with hospitality. Though they do recommend you not stay too long in their lands- unless, of course, you want to run the chance of developing one of the distinctions that make them all so...unique.
