Den of the High Moon

For those wolves who keep the pack in order and are highly trusted by the Lead Wolf - each High Moon wolf has a specific role that assists in keeping the pack safe and fed. The High Moon Den is located atop the rocky cliff-face the wolves find most of their dens around, facing North. This is often where the Lead Wolf can be found lounging with his packmates. 

Den of the Rising Sun

For pregnant or nursing mothers, their young litters, and the pupsitters that keep them sane while helping to raise the pups. Each pupsitter is assigned a mother when they arrive, and their puppies become the Pupsitters prime duty from birth to after weaning. Den of the Rising Sun is found on the East-facing side of their craggy camp, not quite as high on the incline as the High Moon wolves, and with an entrance much less steep than the other dens, should a pup manage to wander too far from their mother or sitter.

Den of the Southern Skies

Where the bulk of the pack resides, this den is for those close-knit wolves who keep the pack on their paws and well-fed. The hunters and the scouts, the adventurers with a sharp eye and the wolves talented in taking lives with swiftness and with honor. This den is almost beside the Rising Sun tunnel, but moreso behind it as these wolves face the South. Few trees shield their view of the heavens, and they have a scraggly slope that leads downwards past the Western den entrance at the forest floor.

Den of the Western Winds

This is a place for those without ranks, who aren't decided pack wolves, and those who may have not earned trust enough to reside amongst the bulk of the pack. New bloods. Rarely will an omega remain an omega within the Avalik River pack, but they must earn their rank and the amenities that come with it, like progress to the higher den spaces and breeding rights.
