Ursus Pack
Pictured above the Slough Creek in Yellowstone, where the pack resides.
The Ursus Pack is nestled in the Yellowstone woodlands; tucked away in an alcove far from danger. They migrate to the mountains of Yellowstone in the spring and summer to avoid the heat, and back down into the valley in the autumn and winter to avoid the snow at higher elevations. Once spring and summer roll around, they follow the elk herds back up to the mountains again.
Ursa is the founding member of the pack, along with her mate Cedar. Their offspring, and generations to come, will lead the Ursus Pack. The pack is named after Ursa and her encounter with a bear that left her scarred (Ursus being the Latin word for bear). She met her mate as a yearling and they learned to hunt and thrive together, eventually moving to the mountains and valleys to raise the future generations of Ursus Pack leaders.

Personal Rules: (feel free to look if you're interested!)
Any female offspring of Ursa and Cedar or any of her offspring's' pups maybe lead the Ursus Pack in the future, just as long as they come from her and Cedar's lineage.
Once the new lead wolf is chosen, she must pair bond with a single wolf.
- once she turns 1 year old she must chose a wolf in the pack to pair bond with.
- Both wolves should (preferably) have no other offspring (if they do have other offspring, they will be ineligible to be heirs to the Ursus Pack as they will not be fully related to the leader and their mate).
If a wolf is a stud male he may have some offspring but they will not be eligible to compete as lead wolf.
