The Alpha of the pack takes the title 'Skarn' and is preceded by the first beta, who takes the title 'Unakite'.
Elders retire from their roles and go to teach pups.
When the herbalist reaches 6 years old, the next one is chosen from the most promising pups. Both the Herbalist and the Apprentice take the title 'Aragonite'.
Usually, only descendants of the first Skarn can take a title.
β Betas are trained in strength
Γ Gammas are trained in wisdom and smarts
Δ Deltas are trained in speed and agility
Omegas are usually wolves that were not born into the pack, and they take over pupsitting duties.
