📚The Queens Backstory📚
Within the depths of a dark and tangled forest, a pack shrouded in secrets and treachery. Here, the sunlight struggled to break through the thick canopy of twisted branches, casting an eerie gloom over their territory. The pack was known for their ruthlessness and deceit, but there was one among them who stood out like a star in the night sky.As a pup, Lune had been abandoned by her mother who had been deceived by her mate that their daughter had been kissed by the devil. A fear born not of malice but of misunderstanding drove her father away, leaving the rainbow-hued creature vulnerable and lost. Lune had been discovered by this traitorous pack, who, upon her arrival, had treated her as a divine blessing. They exalted her, admired her otherworldly beauty... until her wings began to bloom. The moment she sprouted the soft, scintillant feathers from her back, reverence twisted into resentment.
Time trickled away painfully as the pack's affection turned into disdain. Lune had never understood the envy directed at her; she was just a pup. But as she grew, so did the bitterness among the pack. She could hear the murmurs that hung in the air like smoke. "Deformed," they whispered, "tainted." Eventually, it culminated in a night darkened even by the usual shadows of the forest.
It was late, and Lune had stolen away to the edge of a silver stream, seeking solace in its gentle murmurs. She had closed her eyes, feeling the cool water caress her paws, wishing more than anything for acceptance, a simple dream born from a heart that knew only loneliness.
But a warrior, a twisted soul cloaked in darkness, had watched her from the shadows, a wolf consumed by jealousy. The rage erupted like lightning; in a heartbeat, Lune found herself bound and broken. With a grim resolve, he severed her wings, leaving only stubs from which no feathers would ever blossom again. Lunes' howls of pain echoed across the land, silencing even the forest's whispers.
In the days that followed, Lune managed to slip away, guided by the faint glimmer of courage deep within her. She wandered through the night, the echoes of her past haunting her every step. Thoughts of her mother often danced through her mind, blurring the lines between hope and despair. Could she find her? Was there a home waiting beyond the dark?
It was during this treacherous journey that she first encountered the specter of her mother. One evening, as the twilight cloaked the forest, Lune stumbled upon a clearing, bathed in the glow of fireflies. In the center stood an ancient willow tree, its branches swaying rhythmically, as if beckoning her to approach. Drawn to its comforting presence, she stepped forward, feeling an inexplicable connection.
Suddenly, a soft, melodious voice filled the air, echoing around her. "Lune, my cherished child." The voice poured over her like honey, warm and inviting.
In disbelief, Lune turned; there, standing just beyond the reach of the willow's light, was a figure like a reflection from a forgotten dream. Her mother, whose presence radiated warmth and familiarity, obscured her own markings, seeming untouched by the cruel hands of fate.
"Mother?" Lune's voice trembled, laden with yearning.
"Yes, my little star. I have watched over you from afar," her mother responded, a smile gracing her lips that held both love and sorrow.
With each tender word, Lune felt a bond unraveling; she knew the truth was hidden in the prophecy left for her. "There exists a pack, a sanctuary, they will welcome you with awe and admiration. Do not falter, my sweet girl. Stay true to yourself."
And so with those final words, her mother began to fade. Soon after the unexpected visit Lune continued her journey, strengthened by the hope ignited within her. The moonlight guided her through treacherous terrain, and the streams became her companions, echoing her dreams.
Days turned to weeks as she journeyed, following the rhyme of her heart. The landscape shifted around her, vast fields of wildflowers and gentle streams guiding her steps. Finally, after what felt like a lifetime, she found herself at the edge of a glade. The air buzzed with laughter and life, as wolves moved gracefully among the sun-dappled trees.
As she stepped into the protective embrace of the willow trees, the Slarlight Moon Clan saw her, their eyes wide with wonder. Lune felt the pull of acceptance, each wolf she encountered offering their awe instead of disdain. They awakened something in her; something that suggested she belonged, that who she was was a gift instead of a curse.
"Welcome, ethereal friend," an elder of the pack greeted her with warm, welcoming eyes and a voice that resonated with kindness. "You have traveled far, and your heart has weathered many storms. We see you for who you are, not what you carry as scars."
Lune, gazing up at the warm sunlight filtering through the leaves, felt a rush of tears spilling forth. Each drop carried away the burdens she bore, washing over her as she realized that she had finally found a home, her true sanctuary among beings who would cherish her.
The world she had left behind faded like a distant memory that lost its power, and in her heart, a melody began to play, a song filled with the promise of belonging, a song that was now hers to sing among the Starlight Moon Clan.
