And so, it begins.

Deep in the twilight-lit forest, two wolves faced each other with mutual looks of hatred upon their faces. Hackles raised and teeth bared, the two circled each other slowly. They could not be more different from each other; one with fur as dark as the night sky above them; the other bearing fur as white as the fresh coat of snow that crunched underneath their heavy paws. The snow colored one spoke, her voice as cold and unyielding as ice.

"This must end, Dusk. You know the Ethereals will not survive without us."

The dark one huffed out a growling laugh, his breath misting the air.

"It will not end. War has no end."

The she-wolf snarled, and the circling stopped at once. "You will bring divide and ruin! Do you not see what will happen? The Elders have spoken, I know what they told me."

"Then the Elders are wrong."
