Whispering Weavers

You edge closer to a deep, ominous swamp, the air thick with humidity, carrying the mingled scents of unfamiliar wolves from a new pack. Venturing deeper, the atmosphere thickens with eerie cackling and the faint whispers of wolves. Dancing lights flicker at the corner of your vision. With each step, the realization dawns on you: you are utterly lost. Overcome by fear, you dare not howl, letting out only a timid whimper.

Suddenly, a ghostly figure materializes before you. Instinctively, you take a step back, your fur bristling and a deep growl vibrating in your throat. However, as the figure approaches, it becomes clear that it's a wolf, with a large tall build.

"What brings you here traveler?" the wolf inquires, his tone laced with curiosity. With Your voice caught in your throat eventually you manage to speak telling the wolf you are lost in response his friendly grin grew into a creepy smile. The wolf turned down to a small dirt path with thick fog rolling in behind him.
"Well traveler you have stumbled upon my pack." he said grimly only his dark silhouette shown through the dense fog

As you follow the wolf Your fur snags on spiderwebs scattered about, briefly blinding you.
As the fog rolled away and your vision clears briefly you look up to see the wolfs glowing eyes through the fog beckoning you forward. "We are here," he announces, leading you into a cave radiating a strange green hue.

As you follow the wolf deeper in the cave the fog seems to clear you hear the sounds of other wolves chattering and the warmth of their breath fill the air. The wolf leads you through a corridor before halting. "Here is my pack," he announces.
Among them, you see pups and elders, but something is unnervingly different. Their eyes, numbering not two but eight, fixate on you, and their fangs are unusually large.
The wolf turns back to you, his voice echoing in the cavernous space. "Welcome to the Whispering Widows, where wolf and spider are one."
