The Scarab Uraeus 𓆣𓋹

In the heart of the desert...

You've been walking amongst the sands of the desert for what felt like ages. You aren't sure anymore how many times you have seen the sun rise and fall, and nothing in the vast expanse of territory looks even remotely familiar to you. The heat and rough terrain have blistered your paws, causing you to slow your pace, panting. This heat was killing you, and in a very literal sense, if you couldn't find shade soon.

You spot a steep incline in the distance, cascading into a network of canyons. You waste no time descending swiftly into their depths, yearning for the a place away from the sun. As your paws make contact with the cool sand nestled within, a wave of relief washes over you, prompting a brief pause to shake off the heat and restore a sense of comfort. Casting your gaze around, you are greeted by the sight of ancient hieroglyphs carefully etched into the walls, meticulous and careful claw marks. They all seemed to be telling a story, but you weren't sure what.


"I assume you are admiring my work." a voice resonates from behind you, nearly making you jump out of your own fur. Turning, you meet face to face with a large she-wolf, her obsidian fur contrasting sharply with golden-hued markings. Adorned with a snake headdress that glints even in the dim light, she meets your gaze with calm, ivy-green eyes. She graces you with a subtle smile. "I am Queen Zolota— but don't let my royal title bother you." she paused, looking you over. "...I can sense you're overheated from this harsh desert. Come with me, and meet my packmates. I will lead you along to some cool water. And just maybe, I'll shed some light on the meaning behind those hieroglyphs."
