HOWDY, STRANGER!
Intro
You have been tracking elk all day with no luck, exhaustion clouds your judgment and you decide to take a shortcut home. As you are crossing back into your pack's place two wolves approach. "Welcome to River Place.", greets a young silver wolf. Her tone is friendly and unworried. Though the other wolf has his pale eyes narrowed. "Don't mind him." the silver wolf muses. You recognize the medicine scent coming from the pale-eyed's fur. An herbalist is sworn to non-violence. "Well don't let us keep you!" the silver calls already turning to leave. "And don't let me catch you on the wrong side of place lines again." the male adds gruffly padding behind his friend.
The St Croix Pack was founded by several captive releases. The group is made up of grey wolves from several North American Wildlife Preserves as well as captive-bred individuals. The pack is uniquely disorganized and fairly new, with most members being under three years of age.
Pack Archetype Description
The members are characterized as scrawny. Many possess short, dense fur and are of natural coat-color. River place physical traits include:
- Broad heads with shorter ears
- Lack of distinct shedding season
- Oily water-resistant coat
Many of the members are direct relatives, and studding is heavily utilized to prevent inbreeding. All pups are bred from Leadwolf. (With the exception of some pair-bonds.) All wolves must reach a minimum of 500 stats before being considered for the breeding male role.
