Pack of the Heavens
Flora Caverns
Nestled within a curtain of ivy, Flora Caverns is so named for the moss and lichen covered rocks that make up the walls of the den. This is the largest den in the pack, and is home to the bulk of its members. Primarily made up of pups and their mothers, this cozy den provides the safety and shelter they need to raise the next generation of the pack, while the Scouts come and go as they need. Lady Selene and Lady Solana make their nest atop a rocky shelf within the cavern, set above the nests of the others. Rays of sunlight filter through the ivy curtain, casting a warm ambient glow within the cavern.
Waterfall Caverns
So named for the small waterfall that flows from its entrance, Waterfall Caverns is where the pack hunters reside. This dark, cool cavern is host to a small pool, which is fed by a stream that enters that cavern at the far side, which in turn feeds the stream that flows from the pool out of the cave. Cool and dry, this cavern is a safe haven for hunters to unwind and rest after a long and stressful hunt. Only fully fledged hunters live here, and those expecting pups temporarily relocate to Flora Caverns.
Shady Grove
A fair distance from the caverns that make up the dens of the pack lies a grove shaded by ancient trees and protected by thick underbrush so gnarled together that not even a mouse could slip through the tangles and twists. This is where Lake, the quiet Herbalist, makes her home. Here is where she stores her herbs and crafts her salves and tinctures in the silence of her shaded home. This dark, quiet place also serves as a resting place for sick and injured wolves, where they can heal and be treated without the noise of daily pack life. With beds of soft moss and down feathers scavenged from old nests, Lake ensures that those under her care will always have a warm, dry bed while they’re on the mend.
