Octavia was the baby of her two older brothers, though she did not enjoy their overbearing protection, particularly from Aleksei. She would make it clear that she did not need them around in order to make a name for herself. Octavia was determined to become a strong, independent she-wolf who would rely on her own inner power and talents.
She often raced her brother Davios when they would go hunting; she had inherited much of her mother's features, such as the mix of gray and white speckles in her fur coat, but instead of Phyre's brilliant blue eyes, Octavia got her father's brown orbs—a wolf whom neither she nor Aleksei had ever met. Even though Phyre never spoke about him, those eyes were enough for Octavia to feel connected to someone she had never known.
