Keres joined the pack under the rule of the second reincarnation of Skadi and Aerglo,. A few years after he joined Skadi and Aerglo went to the dreamlands and did not return. Prometheus chose him to become the next leader, despite Keres's protests. His early reign was marked by disaster, and struggles, as cryptids came from the forest and caused packs to choose sides in their own disputes and fights. This experience has made Keres untrusting of mysterious events, and this is shown in how he leads.
While willing to help others, he has drawn the pack further into their forest, causing larger rumors of the forest being haunted by a pack of ghosts. He lead the pack through the trials of the Faeclu, and while he is not proud of all the decisions he made, he does not regret them.

The last day of his time as a lead he made sure his business was taken care of, and he
entrusted the choice of his heir to Ramaji. Finally he said his farewells to his counsel, having final conversations with his old friends before leaving the den for the last time. He took his final walk through the quiet snow, before laying down under the light of the moon, one last time.
