"Hey, watch out!"

You yelp as a voice calls behind you. You had been so consumed watching the beautiful sunset while walking that you hadn't noticed the rock until it was too late. Your head swam with pain, and you see stars dancing in front of your eyes. You shook your head to try and clear the fog and looked around for the wolf who'd called out.

"Are you alright?" the stranger asks, and you turn to find a young female with a friendly yet worried face, head half-bow beside you.

"I'm fine," you respond, quickly standing and shaking off the remaining dizziness.

Your ego is not thought. How embarrassing. Fortunately, the female seems decent enough not to laugh at you and quickly takes you to the healer, "just to be sure."

Æstrid took Octavia's position as chaser rather abruptly. In fact, she had only just joined the tribe when the old she-wolf drew her last breath, in peace, surrounded by her two daughters.
The new recruit had to show determination and courage to be able to fulfill her predecessor's role, and this wasn't easy at first. Lack of trust with the rest of the group, ignorance of their way of doing things... These were some of the factors that hindered her. But she shared the same temperament as Octavia, which helped her to integrate and learn as quickly as possible.
