It was this prophecy that drove the tyrannous Warlord alpha to find Koryos. In his endless pursuit to destroy the threat upon him, the Warlord conquered the lands of the desert, taking in every pup he could find to build his army. It was during one of these conquests that the corrupt Alpha found a pup with blood-red fur and steele blue eyes. Though this pup did not bear the sacred sight from the prophecy, the Warlord knew that this pup would grow to be something very special, and decided to raise him as his ruthless son and second-in-command. For many years, Koryos served under the cruel and careless alpha, committing horrors that left him sick to his stomach. But his father was the Romalus, the Messanger of Mars---All the horrid acts must be for a grander purpose. He was sure of it. However, the day would soon come where Koryos would realize that this was not the truth.

When the day arrived where the sky darkened around them, he would not see his father standing confident under the eclipse. When he cast his gaze upon the Warlord, he saw a wolf cast in the shadows of desperation... A wolf who would do anything to ensure his success. The Warlord alpha slaughtered every wolf that stood in his way, pushing his soldiers from land to land in his mission to find the pup with scared sight. At last, Koryos grew the courage to ask his father the question he feared most. "Great Romalus, sir? What do you plan to do with the pup when you find them?" When the Warlord's gaze met his, Koryos' blood chilled, for that was not his father looking back. "I will kill it," the Warlord answered simply. "My power must be protected, Koryos. I trust you understand." With a bow to his Warlord, Koryos nodded firmly. "Of course, father. You're reign must continue." But inside, he knew what he needed to do. For too long, Koryos cast his gaze aside, choosing to believe that the tyrannous actions of his father were for a greater mission. But to bring death to most innocent pup? It was the most heinous crime amongst even the fiercest and cruelest of lords in the collective lands. So when the time came and his father found the wolf with sacred sight, Koryos gathered the courage, and planted his paw firmly in the dirt. "Koryos, what do you think you're doing?" The Warlord warned, teeth poking through his lips. "I can't let you kill him. He's just a pup!"

As the sky darkened around them from the eclipse, lightning struck, setting the brush on fire and turning the sky red from the fire. It was then the Koryos and the Warlord realized that the pup was only a catalyst, and that he was the one destined to end the evil reign all along.
