Joyleaf

Cub name: Brightleaf

It was a proud moment for Brightleaf when old Lonebriar invited her to the Cleansing Hot springs to learn from him.  The wolf was reaching the end of his days and wanted to teach someone his craft.  He managed to show her 15 of his recipes before he died.

Brightleaf knows she has big footprints to fill but is determined to learn everything quickly and well.  She has settled in to the Hot Springs in place of her mentor, though while he lived there alone, she has invited the older wolves and their pups to stay with her, so she won't be so lonely. 

She loved her new occupation and took the name "Joyleaf."

Joyleaf enjoyed a long career as a healer, until at 6 years 11 months of age she was heavy with her final litter and finally decided to pass her beloved herb grinding-rock onto her protege, Nettle.  She intended to settle down with her pups and maybe do a little scouting in her twilight years, perhaps see the lands that all her packmates had told her stories about.
