Drifting Cloud

Congrats, you've been gifted Drifting Cloud! Drift (for short) is a travelling wolf that wanders from pack to pack gathering stories and adventures along the way. There are several travelling wolves in the game, you can find out more about them here, and read the rules here if you want to join in or be gifted a travelling wolf!

This wolf should not be kept and should be gifted to another user after at most 3-5 days. Please keep them healthy and fed! It's encouraged (but not manditory!) to gift the wolf a decor and/or write a few sentences about what they got up to while they were in your pack. Make sure to mark down your ID and name whenever you add something, and please don't delete any of the bio or remove any decors- they're a record of the wolf's adventures.

Drift is a reckless and charismatic young wolf. The moment she grew old enough to not need a sitter, she ran off into the wild world following the footsteps of a strange wolf who once visited her pack. She is curious and friendly, and races from pack to pack learning about as much as she can. She makes friends quickly, but has a habit of trying to show off to them and has got herself into trouble on more than one occassion.

"Drift panted heavily as she slipped behind the dense undergrowth of the forest. Finally, her caretaker seemed to have lost track of her. She'd run away from the pack for good! No more dull lessons from her mother, no more being held back from hunting with her father, no more waving goodbye to pups adopted into other packs- no, now she'd get to go exploring the world and meeting new wolves! "South! Yes, that's the way to go, Drift decided that she was sick and tired of the northern cold! Unfortunately for her, she wasn't that good with directions yet and ended up in the mountains rather than on a beach, and of course it started raining, and of course she slipped on a rock by a river and almost fell in! Maybe she did need more lessons by her teachers.. she shook the thought out of her head and then suddenly felt a weird presence. She turned around and saw him, a dark wolf, about the same age as her. He was looking at her intently, with a look that was a mix of innocent and sinister, a chill ran down Drifts spine. She sighed in relief when a young female, who introduced herself as the scary boys sister, intervened. She took Drift to their pack and had the herbalist look at the paw Drift sprained earlier by the river." - Tallbarr #29379

South again! She traveled in the direction that she had been pointed in until a wolf with a fancy headdress stopped her and asked where she was going. "Adventuring!" She answered. The scout laughed and took her to meet her pack. They gave her food and let her play with the many wolves her age and gave her a space with the elders to sleep. "Heading into the prairie biome, I noticed that there was a huge group meeting going on. It seems that they had been discussing the lead will be passing soon, in desperate need of a trustworthy companion. They noticed me and I had quickly declined but they took me in for a few days to feed and keep me hydrated. "A few days had gone by since Drift's mother had passed. After a chance encounter with one of the pack's new scouts, she had returned home too late to say goodbye to her father. She counted her blessings and told her mother about the litter she had had, her adorable pups staying with their father's pack. They spent their last few days together in peace, and after the burial ceremony Drift picked herself back up and set back out on the trail, now with her mother's blessing." - Embers #3501 (very long story, dm if you want to hear it XD)

Drift came upon another pack that had a beautiful white leader. Drift was tired and this leader had noticed it. She suggested that Drift stay a few days with them to rest, rehydrate, and eat. Drift decided to and followed the leader to the packs camp. She listened to the stories told at night, watched some of the packs pups grow, became pregnant herself. She shared her own stories with the pups of the pack and the others that wanted to listen. She told the leader that she had stayed quite long enough and once her pups were weaned she was gonna head out. Some of the pups weren't very happy as they wanted to learn more about Drift and hear more of her stories, to which Drift chuckled and told them that perhaps one day she might return and if they were still with the pack she would tell more stories. -Gave the butterfly decor- Blackwidow #43418

Drift padded through the short, grassy plains of the prairie. She ran into a young she wolf who had been foraging for herbs. The two greeted each other, and the she wolf offered for Drift to join her back at her pack. They had been accepting many travelers lately, and Drift had met four other travelers. The wolf that had brought her here was named Bean, and they enjoyed talking together and playing with the pups. When Drift was made a huntress, she met one of the travelers she wolf named Dapper. They enjoyed working together and they became friends. Together, Bean, Drift, and Dapper had formed a trio of friends, always exploring together. They both knew Drift wouldn't stay long, but Drift told them she might come back one day. She asked Dapper if she wanted to join her on her travels, but Dapple wasn't sure if a pack would let them both in. - Added by Solar Zephyr #26993
