Nettle

Nettle came from Healer Joyleaf's second from final litter.  Born with a 70 in Wisdom, Agility, and Smarts, and also with the White Blaze mark that was traditional for 3 Moon Pack, there was no doubt that she would become healer in her mother's stead.  Soon her dedicated personality shone through and the entire pack welcomed her.

Joyleaf could ease into retirement peacefully, knowing her pack would be cared for by capable paws and a caring heart.

Nettle finally took over the Herb Grinding-Rock at 1 year 1/2 months of age, as her mother was heavy with her final litter and wanted to take it easy.  She started her new role with a happy heart and big dreams of all the cures she'd make.

Nettle wasn't disappointed when she began studying directly with the great bear.  She already knew all the cures except three!  She happily researched and learned and was able to make everything within just a few months of learning under him.  However, humbly, she recognized that there was still much she needed to absorb regarding diagnosis, as she once tried to feed a freshly made antidote to a wolf with loose stools.

Years passed and a strange wolf named Wraith came to the Pack. As he grew, his fey powers increased. He was touched by the strange spirits of the Coigreach, and a few stayed with him after it was over. Nettle befriended him and invited him to live in the cave behind the healing springs. They soon grew to be fast friends and Wraith would sometimes speak to the spirits of wounded wolves, asking them to stay a while longer and be healed.
