HAWTHORN

I'm Hawthorn, founder and leader of the Harrowed Order of the Ghostwoods. Tread lightly; spirits wander these woods too.

Hawthorn came from a sparse and dangerous valley and was alone for a long time. He wandered into the Ghostwoods and found the specters that haunt them to be good company. A few wolves in the surrounding lands were mystified by the wolf who wandered the haunted forest, and Hawthorn found himself inexplicably the leader of a loose group of outcasts and lonely souls. The Harrowed Order cohabit the foggy landscape with their silent neighbors. Even in death, they never truly leave.

HARROWED ORDER

They are the wolves who wander the Ghostwoods alongside the dead.

Great Fir Tree - the core group that governs the actions of the Order live in the little sun-lit meadow marked by a single fir tree.

Hawthorn. Quiet, hesitant leader. Mates with Wormwood. He/him.

Ripple. Novice healer. Youthful and determined. She/her.

Wormwood. Hunt captain and mates with Hawthorn. Capable, but modest and gentle. He/him.

Hatch. Watchful hunter and denguard. Mates with Wisp. She/her.

Bone. Charming and sociable hunter. Clashes with Wisp and loses prey on the reg. They/them.

Wisp. Serious and haunted hunter. Second in command, and mates with Hatch. He/him.

Frostbite. Romantic and skilled  scout. Mates with Hazel. She/her. 

Hazel. Shy scout, mates with Frostbite. Hangs out in the coniferous forest when she needs time alone. She/her.

Shiver. Bitter and prickly pupsitter and denguard. Newest Pack-member. Came to Hallowed Order injured and is relegated to pupsitting until they heal. They/them.

Stone Hollow - A sandy clearing sheltered by rock formations that's a popular hangout for some of the younger wolves. It's great for sparring and playing, and the rocks are a popular spot to sunbathe.

Kindling. Child of Ripple and an Outsider. Stubborn and outspoken, but loyal. Sister of Ash. She/her.

Ash. Child of Ripple and an Outsider. Calmer than her littermate, Kindling, and agreeable. She/her.

Aspen. A young wolfdog who floated on the outskirts of the Deadwood until he was allowed to join. Passionate and reckless but nevertheless a favorite of Hawthorn. He/him.

Sparrowhawk. Kind and outgoing, with a combative streak. She likes to fight and generally acts as a den guard. She/her.

Scarper. Ruthless and intelligent. Adopted child of Hazel and Frostbite, and agent of chaos alongside her brother Mire. She/her.

Mire. Child of Frostbite and Hazel, via Frostbite and Aspen. An absolute bastard, and partners in crime with his younger sister Scarper. He/him.

Sunlight. Quiet, gentle, and graceful. Child of Hatch and an Outsider. They/them.

Crystal Cavern - a small cave in the mountainous part of the woods, where in the dark one can hear amidst the slow drip of water of the stalactites a soft humming. from the very walls. Veins of reflective crystal in the stone thrum with healing power. The Order's herbs are stored here, and its wolves come here to rest when they're sick.
