Legends: Swamp wolves, when the first six wolves founded the home of the waving hills,they were each gifted a special trait to help separate their groups. The first of the low ground guard, Swamp, was given the gift of a large tail that seemed to look like a large Cedar tree. The first of the center-field hunters, Aloe, was given large paws that killed prey in a swift pound, with their paws resembling giant stones. The first of the cliff scouts, Reed, was given deer antlers intertwined with vines to blend in with the terrain. The first of the angelic healers,River,was given a moss green blanketed coat of fur along her back, so trackers could follow her herb routes. And the first leader,Marsh,was given all these traits, along with a glowing mark on his forehead.
How the Swamp Wolves got their name: The wolves that caught sightings of the first of the waving hills learned to call them swamp wolves, only seeing them in the shadows of large trees, or running through sunlit streams.
Traditions: When the last of a leaders days come they take the journey to the giving tree,in which all pack leaders go to find peace, the roots to the tree climb up the leaders paws and they roots grow as the wolves around them let out a deep howl ,when the roots fully cover the leader ,they become a part of the giving tree.
Traditions: when a new leader is appointed they must go to the giving tree to stand trail,if the tree gives them a glowing mark that matches the first leaders mark they must go back and announce there rule,if they get a mark on there chest,they must go through a course of challenge's to see if they can be named the leader.
Territory: the waving hills pack lives in a deep cave that runs all through a mountain, the entrance is at the top with some carved out dens at the front,but the deeper you go into the tunnel system the wider the space gets. when you start getting deeper and closer to the bottom it opens up to a faint cave with a waterfall running down one side, turning into a lake at the bottom. the lake sits in the middle of the hollow mountain with an island of trees and logs in the middle. Along the walls of the cave are carved out dens,and the ground is littered with ferns,herbs,and moss. The roof of the cave has hanging yellow fruits that light up the cave.
