Biography
Amethyst remembered little of his childhood. Most wolves said they remembered the smell of their mother, their siblings. And Amethyst? He remembered nothing. Only that since he was a pup he had wandered around the big valley, where exchanges had been made between packs for generations. He didn't know how to hunt, anyway, he was too small and, in addition, lazy. So he stole some scraps left over from the exchanges.
One day he realized it was time to leave and start living like a real wolf, not a loser. He could advertise himself as a good acquisition for some pack. Just what could he offer? He had no skills, he was unlikely to be beautiful either, and he knew nothing about his genes. So he started living as a loner. He didn't know it would be that hard. He ate eggs and some roots he met on his way. Amethyst wandered aimlessly until one day he ran into a lone wolf. His name was Saphire and he was about Amethyst's age. He smelled of treading center. It wasn't that long ago that he must have been there. They started talking and it turned out that Saphire had just joined a new pack and was on his way from the Trading center to that pack's camp. He is traveling with his sister and a scout of this herd and has now moved away from them to hunt. Saphire suggested to Amethyst that he hunt with him, since his skills are very small.
Amethyst preferred not to admit that his skills were nonexistent. So he agreed to go hunting together. He followed Sapphire and tried to remember exactly what the other was doing. Suddenly, he tracked down a hare and let himself go running after it. Amethyst also started running and after a while overtook Sapphire, took the hare's path and.... Sapphire ran into Amethyst knocking over the returning hare. The hare fled into the bushes, from where, after a while, the sound of tugging came to them. Out of the bushes, with the hare in its mouth came a wolf, very similar to Sapphire. His sister, Crystal.
She was beautiful. Amethyst when he saw her felt a strange cramp in his stomach and involuntarily stood in a more confident position. Crystal asked him who he was and where he was from. To the latter question Amethyst preferred not to answer so he only replied:
Crystal looked at him curiously. Amethyst felt his paws soften under her gaze. At that moment he heard the scout with whom the siblings were traveling call them. So they all quickly said goodbye and went their separate ways.
Amethyst repeated the procedure in the hunt according to Sapphire. In the chase he was very good, in the other roles he counted on luck. He began to eat the meat he caught himself, good for him as a loner.
One day, he smelled a familiar scent. It was the smell of Sapphire. Amethyst followed the scent, crossed the border of some territory and ran ahead. He stopped only in the bushes, at the edge of grassland. On the horizon he saw a group of hunting wolves and.... Yes, at the end of the group walked Sapphire and Crystal. Amethyst suddenly felt loneliness. He was independent, fact, he liked to be alone. But loneliness and spending time alone were two different things. What if, he joined a pack?
He walked around the hunting group so they wouldn't sense him and went in the direction they came from. He tore through the bushes until he finally entered a small ravine. It was probably a camp because there were several wolves throwing themselves at him. Amethyst only growled that he wanted to talk to the leader. When he was led to the Lord his head was raised high, he wanted to show that he was not afraid.
When the pack leader saw him, he stared at him with wide eyes and immediately accepted him into the pack. He only asked his name, nothing more.
When the hunting team returned to camp Amethyst met with Sapphire and Crystal.Sapphire was happy to see him, Crystal looked on suspiciously. They learned to hunt together, Amethyst additionally learned pack life. He could not say in was bad for him, however, he longed for independence. He also knew that for unknown reasons Lord favored him. Over time, he began to take advantage of this privilege. He became a hunter earlier than his friends. Lord made him the leader of the hunting group. Amethyst still didn't know where this distinction came from. He couldn't handle the plethora of wolves he had to interact with, and he couldn't handle what happens to him when Crystal is around.
He decided to leave.
He didn't tell anyone about it, just left the camp. Maybe he will learn something about his past? At some point he heard footsteps behind him. Crystal. She asked where Amethyst was going. He couldn't lie meaningfully in front of her so he told the truth (a partial truth) that he was leaving to find out something about his roots.
Sapphire was right. His past didn't matter. She stared at him expectantly, as if knowing that he was just having an internal battle about whether to stay in the herd. He decided to hunt to clear his mind and make the right decision. Sapphire went with him, and as he ran beside her like this he realized that after all this time he couldn't hunt alone again. Her eyes were lovely, she was all lovely. And he decided to stay. With her.

It doesn't matter where you're from, it matters where you're going. You said so yourself. Apparently hard times are coming, and you're just leaving us like this? You were supposed to accomplish great things, remember?
