Pack roles 🎭

Leader
A wolf can assume this position when it has reached the age of 3 and the previous leader has died or is near death.
Beta
Leader's partner, his best friend, helper or future leader
Breeding male
It can breed with any female from the pack (and outside the pack). Must excel with high stats, mutation or good genes.
Hunters
Trained and the fittest wolves, they mate in hunting groups and provide food for the pack. They provide training for younger wolves.
Pupsitters
A group often humiliated by the hunters. They usually do not have high statistics or simply have not received hunting training.
Herbalist
Trained from a young age for this role. Highly respected in the pack. When she reaches the age of 5, she chooses her successor from among the youngest puppies and trains him until he reaches adulthood and steps into the role.
Scouts
Two wolves with high intellectual skills. They patrol the areas around the camp and beyond, getting to know the areas as well as they can. When they reach the age of 5, they choose their successor from among the pups and train him. After training, they hand over the position to him.
Mentors
They are passing on their wisdom and experience to a new generation. They are former hunters, scouts and herbalists (rarely also former pupsitters)
Elders
Wolves no longer willing to work even as mentors. They have a minimum of 7 years and basically all they do is complain about the youth.
Mothers
Any female in advanced pregnancy or caring for her newborns. She is then relieved of all work (sometimes she takes on the role of pupsitter for this period)
Puppies
Puppies that are already weaned. They learn basic skills from mentors. It is assumed that they will all become hunters. If any are chosen to be apprenticed as scouts or herbalists they learn the skills needed for that role.
Adols
They look forward to adulthood and actively participate in pack life. They choose their future role and specialize in the skills needed for it.
Adjuncts
Newly befriended wolves who will not stay in the pack permanently. They usually help with the care of the pups and sometimes become mothers.
Travelers
Wandering wolves exploring the world. They can stay in the pack for a period of time in exchange for a little help in daily life.
