Sunshine

(Sex changed for breeding purposes, as far as Lore is concerned he's still a dude) 

0 months: Born into a small pack. His parents are the lead pair, and he is the only surviving pup in their litter.

6 months: Throughout his puphood, Sunshine is doted on by his parents, and often receives compliments for his good looks. As such, he develops a big ego, which soon starts to irritate his packmates. 

1 year: His packmates, fed up with his self-important attitude, drive him out of their territory. 

1 year, 2 months: Wanders into Ashen Pack territory and ends up fighting Ashen for a dead grouse. Sunshine is half-starved and easily defeated; Ashen takes pity on him and offers to let him stay in the pack for a while. Sunshine pretends to be reluctant, but unconsciously wags his tail as he follows Ashen to the Den. 

1 year, 6 months: Sunshine still retains his sense of self-importance, but he mostly keeps his thoughts to himself. He refuses to join a hunting party, feeling that his packmates would hold him back, and spends a lot of time hunting solo (with limited success). 

1 year, 9 months: After spending more than 6 months in the Ashen Pack and still not bonding with any of his packmates, Sunshine begins to grow lonely, but is too proud to try and make friends. 

One day, Ashen brings home yet another stray: Volke, a large, shy male with dark grey fur. Sunshine is struck by the wolf, who he considers almost as handsome as himself, and boldly makes an introduction. 

Volke is quiet and tries to keep some space between him and Sunshine, but the golden male is undeterred and persistently tries to interact with the newbie. After a few weeks, Volke starts to relax and respond when Sunshine speaks to him; the two soon become friends. 

2 years: Volke, having settled into the pack a bit, asks to join a hunting party. Unwilling to be left behind, Sunshine demands to join as well - his packmates are amused that his sudden change of heart regarding team hunting was brought about by a handsome male. Sunshine blusters and makes excuses; Volke is confused. 

The two are assigned to a new hunting party, Sunshine as a Chaser; he gives the role his all, both out of pride and a need to impress his oblivious crush. 

2 years, 4 months: Sunshine and Volke improve their hunting skills, but their relationship hasn't made as much progress as Sunshine would like. He decides to throw subtlety to the wind, and makes an overt advance towards Volke. The grey wolf finally gets the point, and the two start courting.
