qiao li was told that he was adopted shortly after another pup. he was reassured that his adoptive parents had plenty of experience raising pups, and he was promised that he would be treated well.
qiao li didn't know if he believed them. after seeing le tao, the spontaneous yet dull wolf, he really did doubt if being raised by le qi and kexing was going to be a good idea. he spent the entire day learning his way around the den, sniffing around the caves and trying to learn the names of his new pack members. he didn't remember anything before the bear.

qiao li was eager to be the third in le tao and mao long's future hunting party. the three of them often gathered around each other, listening to qiao li as he made up hundreds of scenarios, each of them more exciting than the last, about the three of them hunting together. they were eager to be just as good, if not even better than the hunting party before them.
mao long would scent, qiao li would lead the chase, and le tao would have the finishing blow. it was perfect.
