Athame

Both light and night possess me, tearing my mind in two. Perhaps... it is meant to be.

One fateful night, as the new moon flooded the land in total darkness, a wolf was blessed with the heart of this pure dark, causing its very pelt to be infected with it.

Wandering aimlessly, Athame, sans any memory related to his past after the transformation, looks for his next meal. Spotting a hare rummaging in the brush, he stalks among the shadows, using his strange ability to his advantage. Before he could act, another wolf dives out of the treeline and snaps up the hare in its powerful jaws. As his eyes meet those piercing yellow eyes, he is suddenly surrounded by a pack of dark wolves, staring down at him.

"He has the blessing!" One cried out, as the yellow-eyed wolf approached, slowly analyzing him. He nods, turning to another before uttering a single phrase, "Gallo should meet him."
