Savage

Savage is a camo-coated wolf with torn piebald markings. He is currently a chaser for Rumbling Thunder.

A blacktail deer gouged out his left eye on a grassland hunt.

Savage, had he gone down a different path, could have been a stone cold killer. Loyalty runs in his veins like blood, and his wild love of the hunt could have turned vicious against his enemies. He could have become a weapon, with merciless jaws and blood-soaked claws that don't discriminate.

He became friends with the tribe's manic pixie dream girl instead. Now he's a big blabbering goofball.

Savage, Sister, and Split Patches spend most of their off-hunting hours together. Savage loves putting himself up to tasks and getting things done for the two, no matter what it might be. He's sociable and doesn't see a need to lie, usually to the point of blunt honesty that can sometimes get him in trouble. They have the most in-group drama of everyone in the tribe, and it breaks Savage's heart when he steps on other wolves' toes and gets dragged into all of it.

Puphood

In his puphood, Savage had gravitated to Sister and saw her as a mentor in the ways of the Phoenix pack. Sister became busy with underpawship much sooner than Savage, and the two grew distant.

Eventually, most other pups barring Savage left to the Rock Moss den, leaving Savage and Cel behind and leading to their friendship. Cel had quirks from his lack of socialization, but Savage didn't seem to mind. He joined him on his nightly explorations outside camp.

As an underpaw, Savage studied for chasing under Haven and Twoface. He didn't get along well with Cel's other friends, Grouse and Jay, but still went out of his way to spend time with the pups.


Adulthood

As a wolf, Savage joined Rumblng Thunder, where he was a skilled chaser. After Cel's Night of First Hunt, he temporarily joined Blood Glean, which disbanded due to not hunting well with Grouse and Jay.
