Mornion has been a member of Green Wood Pack for almost as long as he can remember.
Due to the possibility of his pack casting him out due to over-crowding, Luin chose to take Mornion in as his own and offer him a permanent home. One of Mornion's favorite activities growing up was joining Luin or Caraniel, his adoptive parents, on a scouting mission. As soon as he was old enough to take on responsibility in the pack, Mornion chose to stand at his mother's side as a scout.
It would be a lie to say that Mornion didn't feel a twinge of depression-- or even anger when Luin and Caraniel had their own litter of pups. He feared that the love they had for their own pups would always be greater than their love for him. He was able to swallow his growing uneasiness and enjoy watching his new siblings grow, but despite knowing that he really was loved, resentment started to grow inside him.
Even though Luin was heartbroken by some of his pup's choices to leave the pack, Mornion felt a flicker of relief flood his mind. Only Poppy, Luin's daughter, chose to remain. Maybe there would be a way to remove her from the scene too.
Mornion will never admit it, but secretly he has an ambition to lead his father's pack someday-- no matter what he must sacrifice to do it.
