John d'Arc

John D'arc (usually known as "D'arc") is a plain chocolate-furred wolf with carrot-colored eyes. He was the former cositter with Glass Eye, who moved to the Arctic Ahowlics. He spent a few sublunaries sitting alone. He currently cosits with his mate Hayden.

D'arc used to be a gruff wolf, raising pups with meticulous structure to their days and extensive discipline. He softened up considerably after raising Hayden, enjoying the more relaxed side of raising pups and spending quality times with the rascals. The mellowed-out D'arc still enjoys running basic errands, such as cleaning up waste, organizing the burrow, gathering food, fluffing nests, and replacing worn toys. However, he spends a lot of time playing with pups, teaching them to tussle and reading them bedtime stories.

John D'arc raised almost all the current hunters in Phoenix tribe, barring the Swift Claws and any yearlings who joined after adolescence like Copper and Rinty. Many of the wolves still check in with him, bringing him nesting materials and lending a paw around the burrow.

D'arc's first year of pupsitting was spent working with Glass Eye, a lazy grey wolf who he butted heads with. They got along in front of the pups, but behind closed doors clashed with D'arc's dedicated attitude and Glass Eye's preference to do as little work as possible.

D"arc was tasked with raising Hayden around this time.

Glass eye left to join the Arctic Ahowlics in the mountains, leaving D'arc to pupsit alone. He felt relieved to be at peace without conflict, but stressed by the workload of managing pups alone.
