CONTINUATION FROM SPOILER--
You have no idea how much time has passed until a dark shadow comes into view. It looks like the silhouette is comprised of smoke and dark swirls, but you can't tell because it seems to be in continuous motion; you feel almost nauseous with the refracting glare of the figure. You blink a few times until a force drags to your paws. You are immobilized: chains made of what looks like black smoke bind your legs to the mountain's rocky ground.
The other wolves have disappeared altogether. It takes a moment before you register that all your surroundings have vanished, replaced by the inherent absence of light. The figure is the only thing you can make out by squinting. Shivers run up and down your spine, making you nervous. However, the leader in you attempts to prevail. You speak in the toughest voice you can muster:
"Who are you? Where am I? Why are you doing this?"
You barely finish the string of questions before a searing pain hits you. It feels as though you are being crushed. The silhouette stops 5 feet away from you. The place where its eyes should be stares as you whine in pain. Shaking your head, you force yourself to look at the figure through the pain. Finally, it speaks.
"Sihien dsaow ien taouh."
It sounds as menacing as iron against steel. You can't help but stare blankly. What language is that? It doesn't sound like anything I've ever heard.
"I don't understand you," you say flatly. You flatten your ears and give off the best annoyed look you can without grimacing from the headache. The figure remains silent. You keep eye contact, hoping to intimidate the stranger to any degree. A few minutes pass before your resolve starts to slowly ebb away from the ringing headache. Right as drowsiness begin to cloud your mind, the figure shifts.
Within a blink, an actual wolf stands before you. His fur is dark with shades of red and dark brown; small, white streaks run along his coat like shooting stars. Several feathers protrude from his left ear. Eyes as cruel as a serrated blade pierce you. Dark whisps hang around his paws. You want to show this wolf what you're made of, but every little movement you make sends a sharp pain into your legs.
"Well, what is going on?" you ask with annoyance. The wolf remains as silent as death. Shaking your head, you try another tactic: "My head is killing me. Some hospitality you guys have."
Silence. "Can you at least speak in a language I understand?" Anger begins to build in each breath you take. As you are about to let out a string of curses, the light returns.
Your eyes automatically clamp shut in an attempt to save your corneas from being burned. The mountain air floods your nostrils, much to your relief. The sound of nature brings a sense of peace to your ears. After a few minutes of pain, you open your eyes to see several wolves standing before you some feet away. The black whisps still restrict your movements as expected. You barely register the headache you once had is gone. Breathing a sigh of relief, you eye each wolf with annoyance.
A wolf with dark brown colorings and gorgeous, pale irises approaches you with strong steps. He stops 2 feet away from you, eyes never once leaving your face. You keep eye contact, still wanting to give off a confident presence. A deep voice tinged with age and wisdom speaks with certainty:
"I suppose she didn't tell us on purpose."
You don't know who she is. You give a confused look to him and reply.
"Who is she?"
The wolves behind the older wolf bristle at your question. The elder wolf lifts his tail slightly, which makes the others fall quiet. Is he the leader? you ask yourself.

FOR LATER-
The wolves of the Counciling Board bowed their heads & sat on their haunches as Ilichaesh approached. Her demeanor let off an imposing warning to not step out of line. Braeyaziene stood off to the side a few feet away, eyes scanning the area. Tieyetles, Seiemiye, Rieliefe, Houoop, and Thiryed sat on the sides, watching intently yet sternly.
4th quarter meetings were usually the most heated, which meant smiles were all but existent.
"Well, where is Maagneihfluxse and Zeihiep?" asked Viaxshin.
"They are coming back from their mission," said Seiemiye quietly.
Nodding, Viaxshin stood at the top of the Ledge's Platform. Overlooking the wolves, she lifted a small corner of her mouth. The markings certain wolves bore represented those who fought for the Balance. Even more, those who became a part of the fight were slowly integrating into The Counter Balance.
"Let us get started," she said, voice as smooth as silk. The others lifted their heads. Viaxshin flitted her eyes to the shadows of the trees.
"Schadowh, may you make an appearance?" Viaxshin asked. While it was a question, it was clear she wanted him to step forth. Schadowh was one who bore great influence & power; it was only normal he put his one paw in.
The wolf let out a small growl & slinked out from the trees. His eyes were unsettled due to the daylight. Viaxshin lifted her paw and waved it towards him. Immediately, his eyes felt a cooling sensation behind his corneas, almost as though a sheet of ice had been slipped into his eyes. It allowed him to see without feeling the overstimulating pain. He took a seat next to Tieyetles.
Viaxshin took another look around. The wolves in front of her were chosen by her to act as the 'guards' of the lands. Until the Balance was restored, these wolves were needed to maintain what little peace there was left. Those of the RB also served as guardians, only they lived underground and rarely made appearances above ground. While the RB would be temporary, 30 years had already passed since Viaxshin had put into motion her plan to restore the peace.
Certain wolves bore wings, others power, some elevated skills, and some a mix of all. Nothing happened without her notice. Until she stepped back, all who were willing would follow her guide. Even those who opposed her respected her leadership.
A loud howl snapped the silence.
"Sorry, sorry we're late!" Zeihiep called, running up to the group. He was out of breath, as his speech was slurred and short. Maagneihfluxse came trotting up behind looking relaxed, with his appearance the complete opposite of Zeihiep.
Maagneihfluxse nodded slightly to the others but said nothing. He was the quiet one out of the two. Zeihiep sat down and let out a small laugh, "We didn't expect to get stuck on the way back. Luckily Maagneihfluxse knew an alternative path or else we'd still be there."
No one said anything. They all knew Zeihiep was very social. Ironically, he wasn't even supposed to be at the meeting, but Maagneihfluxse vouched for him because he did know some things others didn't when it came to Information Dragging.
"In that case, plan out that route," Viaxshin said. Maagneihfluxse nodded.
Zeihiep darted off to do the mapping, since he knew his energy was a bit too much for the meeting at that moment. Maagneihfluxse let out a small sigh of relief; he loved Zeihiep, but sometimes even he needed a break.
Viaxshin nodded. 3 hours later, the meeting wrapped. Braeyaziene bowed in a stretch as Tieyetles padded up to him.
"You think the BC is going to up their security?" asked Tieyetles. "I mean, the last thing Fluxse mentioned made it sound like the patrol units are getting closer to being discovered."
Braeyaziene slowly nodded. "Perhaps. I'll send Schadowh on a night hunt. Can you take a look at the trainees? I need to consider using a new EX Hunter."
Tieyetles let out a small huff of annoyance. "I may be an EX Hunter, but that doesn't mean I will lend my paw like that."
"I know," said Braeyaziene. "But you are the Lead EX Hunter. No one else can compare to you, not even someone like Schadowh or myself."
Schadowh silently padded up to the duo. He shook his head, gently creating soft ripples in his smooth fur. "I have one in mind who may serve you well," he said quietly.
Tieyetles glanced at the wolf, eyes bearing the slightest of interest.
Rooule stood before Tieyetles with an almost uninterested expression. Tieyetles sighed and looked at Schadowh, unimpressed.
"You expect an 'original' to be able to meet EX Hunter standards?"
Schadowh gave a small growl from his throat and bared his teeth a little, which meant only one thing: Are you treating my choice like a joke?
Tieyetles sighed through his nose. "Alright, let's see what you can bear."
Viaxshin nodded in approval as she watched the two wolves spar from a distance. Braeyaziene sat next to her, ears pricked forward with interest.
"You think bringing originals will help the Rebellion? They are weak compared to us, with all respect," Braeyaziene said slowly.
Viaxshin nodded gently & offered a kind, little smile as she responded:
"I see a lot of what others will never see. As for originals, they bear a different kind of power, one that not even natives like yourselves can understand. I have no intention of wasting time on those who carry little resolve. The four I have introduced are the ones who will prove more than what others could under intense pressure. Whether it will break them or not depends on their own beliefs of how far they are willing to go for those they will never completely understand, even if they spend decades trying."
Braeyaziene nodded, accepting her response. Right then, Rooule managed to get a hit on Tieyetles, leading to a small scratch on the elder wolf's cheek.
"He holds a lot of promise," Braeyaziene said, eyes lifting with interest at the younger wolf. Viaxshin said nothing but nodded slightly. Her eyes drifted to Schadowh, who was sitting under the dark shade of a pine tree, eyes squinting to accommodate the bright sunlight. She could tell he was proud of Rooule, as was evident by his posture: straight, stiff, & poised. As contradictory as Rooule's personality was, he would make for an excellent EX Hunter.
