Year 1
Flocktime (1.1 years old)
Moon Eyes has always been just a little strange. Similarly to Tala, she is able to read signs and omens in the world around her. When the oracle approaches her, Moon Eyes is already vaguely aware of the newcomers
Winters and her mate
Rivers.
She arrives at the territory just in time to help Winters through the labor of her first litter, and feels it necessary to offer her too protect these pups.
Brewfest (1.5 years old)
With
Timber and
Pine now a bit more independant, Moon Eyes has much more free time to herself. She finds herself in heat, and seeks out a mate outside the pack. Where, exactly, she doesn't share with the others. When she returns, however, she is confident that she is pregnant.
Harshwind (1.7 years old)
During a clear fullmoon night, Moon Eyes gives birth to four pups:
Oak Bark,
Rain Cloud,
Autumn Leaves, and
Honey. She worries especially for Autumn Leaves, who is much smaller and seemingly weaker than his littermates.
Fireseek (1.8 years old)
Late in the previous evening, Moon Eyes and the others realised that
Honey was nowhere to be found. The pack spreads out in search of the pup, but unfortunately, they cannot find her. At dawn, the pack regroups, and
Winters has to announce her dead. Understandably, it breaks Moon Eyes' heart.
Readying (1.9 years old)
During her usual rounds through the territory,
Winters finds the remains of
Rain Cloud at its outskirts. It seems the poor pup was killed by coyotes after sneaking out. Moon Eyes has great trouble coming to terms with the loss, and grows quite overprotective of her two remaining puppies.
Year's End (2 years old)
After the witches' betrayal, a changed
Winters leads her pack northward.
Year 2
Harshwind (2.7 years old)
Moon Eyes gives birth to five puppies. Along with
Winters' three pups, that's quite a lot. Her oldest son
Oak Bark helps out.
Fireseek (2.8 years old)
Her son
Goldshine is injured during training, and passes away.
Snowbreak (2.9 years old)
One of her puppies disappears, presumably to the Dancing Lights.
Year 3
New Year (3 years old)
Her son
Soft Call dies to an unknown disease.
Highsun (3.3 years old)
Moon Eyes forms a pair bond with
Storm Cloud, although she makes it clear she has no desire to have any more pups after losing so many.
