Biography
Lynn is a black paw with grey wing-markings and sharp red eyes. She joined Phoenix Tribe on October 24, 2024.
Lynn is always thinking of others before herself. It's not easy to get close to Lynn, but once you earn her trust, her loyalty is neverending. She showers Anng with gifts from observations and plays with him more than their sitters do.
Puphood
Lynn spent her puphood with Mercy's second litter—aloe, sigil, and crumb. The three were kind to her, but never really got close. Aloe was most friendly to her before the sickness weakened her. After her sickness, towards the onset of Lynn's adolescense, the other pups didn't pay her mind at all. Even her sitters didn't pay as much attention to her, and she began learning independence early. Part of her spited them for paying less attention to her.
The very day Lynn became an underpaw, her sitters brought Aang into the tribe. What the heck! Her heart was broken. Were they just replacing her with this runt? It's not fair! She felt disgusted and lost trust in her sitters, and despised aang for taking her place.
She didn't know the other underpaws well and didn't care to. Instead, she spent her free time stalking by the den to dwell in her jealousy.
Didn't Aang play by himself a lot, though? A little too much. Where were Hayden and D'arc? Still with the Lead Scout's litter? Lynn never saw him spending time with others. His deep red eyes would just stare at this or that, like a passing butterfly or the blooming flowers. Lynn felt...empathy. She understood what it was like to sit around alone.
She started bringing him things and trying to strike up conversations. Aang seemed awkward at first, like he'd never talked to another wolf before. She broke him out of that shell by ruffling his fur or challenging him to tug of war. They started spending lots of time together, to the point Lynn's daily highlights were visiting the pup. It was just the beginning of an inseperable bond between the two.
After Copper, Lux, and Aurora aged up, Lynn spent more time around the tribe nerd, Kala. She didn't trust the dog, but her curiousity got the best of her about why she likes water so much. Bad idea to ask. She got an earful of rambling she couldn't understanding about "fitters" and "duffusuns", or something weird like that. Admittedly she was nice company as a presence while they slept, but she wanted little to do with Kala during their working hours. It worked out since Kala was using busying herself with personal projects when she wasn't observing.
Lynn helped dig Aang his own underpaw den under Moss Rock. The other abandoned dens were all old and smelly, she wanted to set him up to be the most successful wolf in the tribe! Next to herself, of course.
She was wary when Sigil and Crumb began training with them, who she hadn't forgiven for stealing the attention away from Aang. She spoke to them on a "strictly work basis". Sigil never seemed available, anyways, spending all his time with the adults or away with his littermate in the Bitter Den. Lynn hadn't even spoken to Aloe since they were pups.
Crumb, however, was a different story. Aang and Crumb seemed to befriend each other, and Lynn had to reluctantly oversee their time together.
