Named after the: Great-grandson of Hermes, Grandson of the infamous Autolycus, King of Ithaca, Protagonist of The Odyssey. Never wanted to be involved with the Trojan War, even tried to plead lunacy to avoid it until Palamedes disproved his claims of madness. Was considered the antithesis to Achilles in the Illiad, as the cool-headed, ingenious tactic that helped guide his men to victory. The journey home to Ithaca was long and perilous, and forced to Odysseus to face off against many threats, such as the cyclops Polyphemus, the witch-goddess Circe, the six dog-headed monster Scylla, and the whirlpool Charybdis.
