Training:
Chasing and Escaping:
During the lesson: Perseus pretended to be a very hungry coyote today and chased Lightning around the den to test all the dodging techniques in action. The dripping saliva coming from his mouth was a great yucky touch.
Bird Watching:
During the lesson: Lightning pounced on the birds after she successfully lured them to come closer. Catching them was more important than chasing when it came to birds, and it was the best reward for such a long wait.
Hiding:
During the lesson: To Lightning's surprise, Ursa found her quite quickly today. Lightning was reminded to mind her tail while hiding, because energetic wagging can be easily heard and seen.
Stalking:
During the lesson: Lightning learned how to efficiently and quietly put paws in specific spots in every possible terrain, including water, without making a sound. Ursa was impressed, and praised her for her success.
Beginner Foraging:
During the lesson: Some plants have healing properties, others can make you sick. Lightning learned about common mistakes in recognizing herbs, and found she had a natural talent for it.
Hunting Basics:
During the lesson: Lightning waited patiently for the right moment while observing a mouse, and she caught it in one smooth movement. With her skills improving that quickly, Capricorn could already see Lightning's future as a mighty hunter.
