Ominis Antares

After a bit of playing with their father, the trio of pups settle down in the tall grass once more as Erebos wanders off to go hunting for more small game. It isn't long before Ominis finds himself getting poked at by one of his siblings.

He turns to look, his right eye still a little blurry before seeing Sable's meek form. "Thank you, Ominis. ...For saving me earlier." She said quietly, keeping her voice down like their father said to while they were waiting for him to return. Ominis just shrugged. "Don't mention it. It's what big brothers do, Sable." He said nonchalantly before nudging her to lay down beside him. "I'm just glad you're safe. The coyotes up here are much bolder than what mom used to deal with, huh?" He adds, chuckling a little as he tried to uplift the mood a bit. The smaller and darker pup nodded. "Yeah, I guess so." She mumbled and laid her head down.

A few beats of silence passed before Sable spoke up again. "Do you think you could teach me how to do that? I want to help protect us too." She asked and glanced back to Ominis. "Of course, mom showed me those moves and I bet dad could help too. He was doing good keeping the first coyote off us." He says with a grin. "We'll ask him when he gets back." Sable nodded and curled up next to her brother and eventually Morrigan joined them too. The trio fell asleep in the tall grass, waiting for their father to return once more although they were far more at peace now than they had been earlier.
