Training:
Ambushing:
During the lesson: Philly took a particularly fun toy in her mouth before hiding among foliage and large boulders. Jaguar was expected to find and ambush her and the toy would be his reward.
Pathfinding:
During the lesson: Jaguar learned about many different areas located far away from the den from Philly today. Jaguar told her he would like to see everything, from snow-covered mountains to the endless sandy dunes.
Socialization:
During the lesson: Jaguar now understands how to interpret every ear position with alignment of the tail angle. It was so complex, but Hydra was a good teacher.
Killing Effectively:
During the lesson: Jaguar focused on Hydra as she explained how deadly things like hooves could be if he didn't pay attention to them when taking down prey. Hydra had Jaguar practice dodging between the legs as he bit the carcass.
Working Together:
During the lesson: Jaguar listened carefully to Downburst's lecture about how biting and tussling aren't allowed during teamwork. That was a bit disappointing, but Jaguar was ready for the hard work.
Chasing and Escaping:
During the lesson: Jaguar spent this lesson racing with his littermates. Everyone is different and has their own strengths, and Hydra made sure that everyone knew that one day they would become the best version of themselves.
