Training:
Howling:
During the lesson: Absolute and his littermate practised their howling techniques together, despite complaints of the adults who couldn't sleep in peace.
Prey Tracking:
During the lesson: Hydra rolled the toy in deceptive scents today - dung, dead fish and even an ant hill! Absolute had to focus really hard to separate multiple scents entangled together to find the toy.
Hunting Basics:
During the lesson: Absolute concentrated on the bumblebee hovering above a large, white flower. Nothing else existed in this very special moment, and Hydra couldn't help but watch in approval.
Recognizing Danger:
During the lesson: Legend made a test for Absolute, checking if he could recognize herbs presented during the first lessons. Being an herbalist is a huge responsibility when a mistake can cost someone's life.
Socialization:
During the lesson: Absolute now understands how to interpret every ear position with alignment of the tail angle. It was so complex, but Hydra was a good teacher.
Killing Effectively:
During the lesson: Absolute focused on Hydra as she explained how deadly things like hooves could be if he didn't pay attention to them when taking down prey. Hydra had Absolute practice dodging between the legs as he bit the carcass.
Working Together:
During the lesson: Absolute listened carefully to Downburst's lecture about how biting and tussling aren't allowed during teamwork. That was a bit disappointing, but Absolute was ready for the hard work.
