Training:

During the lesson: Today the lesson included effective snarling, biting at the air with extra loose saliva, and pretend-biting each other's faces while making as many awkward gurgling noises as possible. Apparently this really makes other animals tremble in fear!
Ambushing:
During the lesson: Thunder placed a toy between himself and Halo. He showed her where to position herself to catch the prey while Thunder flushed the prey toward her.
Pathfinding:
During the lesson: Hercules used a few distracting scents to tempt Halo as they practiced. A successful scout needs to have a will strong enough to stay on the right track no matter what, even if they are hungry.
Chasing and Escaping:
During the lesson: Halo learned being the fastest isn't always the only necessary factor of success. Thunder explained basic methods of fooling a potential prey or a pursuer.
Hiding:
During the lesson: Thunder explained how important it is not only to hide out of sight, but also out of scent range. Concealing scent is much more difficult than finding a good hiding spot, but it could be the difference between life and death.
Socialization:
During the lesson: Halo learned today how to avoid conflict by asking questions first rather than imply solutions. This made packmates feel included in decision making, which strengthened the bond of the entire pack.
