Poppy, the only pup from Luin's first litter who decided to stay, is a sweet young wolf. She hasn't had the easiest start and is the third and smallest out of four pups.
Poppy was always a shy, quiet sort, and she never liked the idea of leaving her parents-- even though her siblings urged her to go explore the world with them.
Maybe part of the reason Poppy chose to stay was because of Varnion, a charming young wolf her father had taken in, who she became more and more obsessed with by the day. Unfortunately, Poppy's greatest rival, Afina also was falling in love with the young wolf, and when she learned the extent of Poppy's love for Varnion, she only became more difficult to deal with. The two young she-wolves entered a sort of silent war, and seemed to be at each other's throats every other moment.
When Mornion, Poppy's older adoptive brother, stepped in and seemed to side with Afina, Poppy was almost driven to the point of leaving the pack due to the conflict. Poppy would have left it it weren't for Varnion, who at the last minute declared that if there was no place for Poppy, there was no place for him either.
The two of them are now happily together, but due to Afina's continued hostility despite the surprising fact that she has found a new lover, the thought of leaving the pack still wavers in the back of Poppy's mind.
