A hopeful and enthusiastic pup who couldn't be ignored. Mwesti himself went out seeking new additions to the pack when Hrusso and her brother matured and fled- though Hrusso returned, her brother Ksossu did not, and Mwesti was left with a hole in his heart. Called "Ginger" by her birth pack, this pup's wide sparkling eyes and seemingly immediate boundless love drew Mwesti to her even as he scoured about for a male to suit Rhanza's demands. Rhanza was disappointed in the choice, but the rest of the pack absolutely adores the sweet, helpful, joyous pup, who breathes much needed life into the tense atmosphere looming over Highhowl.
She has come to enjoy gardening with the herbalist Nhejse, especially gathering up her namesake ginger root. Nhejse has politely guided her that she may choose a new name for herself if she likes, to signify her new home, but that it's lovely she still has such fond feelings for her namesake. For now, Ginger is trying out sounds and seeing how they fit on her.
She enjoys wrestling with the big bombastic Hwoou when she isn't away hunting, and Hwoou is happy to don the mantle of "cool aunt". She's shaping Ginger up to be a confident and scrappy pup, while Nhejse and Mwesti teach her observation and cunning.
