Ramona was born in the desert - she's a mexican wolf after all. Even though she loved her home, she couldn't say the same about the wolves living with her. She was fierce and bossy since the puppyhood. Being treated like "just another mouth to feed" caused her to misbehave. One day, when the leader told her deaf friend to leave the territory forever, she turned nomad.
She ran to the prairie to find her, but it never happened. She befriended new wolves instead. They all warned her against creating a new pack. There was a great danger for adolescents like her - Morgan, nicknamed as "Mad Dog". He was ruling the terrains and making sure no one steals his pray when the winter comes. But Ramona knew what she wanted. She found a nice hill with a lot of herbs growing on it. Then, the young leader started hoarding them and inviting new members.
When the fist night came, she saw a powerful wolf climbing up her hill. Everyone looked at him in terror, but she kept a steady gaze. Every muscle of her body was ready for a fight, for protecting what's hers. Then, instead of starting a battle, the golden male slipped on a damp grass and howled in pain. The other wolves jumped at him to finally get revenge for everything he had done, but Ramona stepped in.
"Look, i believe in your power and all, but I guess it doesn't work on me" she said with a mysterious smile and quickly applying a cure to his wound. She knew that he would make a good ally. After this incident, they began to grow closer. Morgan collected a hunting party to help. They even named the pack "Skid Hill" (a reference to the situation in which they met), but she never let him think of her as his partner, just a Companion.
She's very loyal, dedicated and capable. Her heat belongs to the pack now, yet she still hopes to move back to the desert someday and find her lost friend.
