Lagopus is a hunter of the forest pack named the Viridis Greenwood Pack. She is named after the genus that ptarmigans are in. She has an imaginative personality. She has been instrumental in keeping the pack well-fed and well-financed by giving them a stable flow of prey.
Lagopus never imagined she'd be in a situation like hers: the only permanent wild wolf pack member who's a hunter. She doesn't know why Calendula has kept her so far, since it's not like she has an interesting coat color, and she considers herself kind of plain -- but she's grateful regardless.
Part of her wishes she was kept to be a pupsitter, especially with so many puppies and adolescents running around and the death of that grey puppy, but she knows she's in no position to complain when she has one of the most important jobs in the pack. In addition, Calendula also told her she would be training to be in a permanent hunting party of five wolves, so her attention is mostly focused on making sure she's getting consistent kills -- and with the arrival of springtime, she's been a nonstop food making machine!
After some deliberation, Lagopus has been named Graminaceous Fangs' new leader and their first stalker! The position is due to her experience in having hunted for 6 months straight for the Viridis Greenwood Pack, and she knows by now she won't disappoint.
