In Mythology, Melinoe is a godess of the moon, leading the way from the underworld, nightmares, and ghosts. This Melinoe leads her band of undead souls through the forests at night, hunting, scouting, and terrorizing the living.
Her pack is known as Drómos Pnévmatos, the haunted path.

Melinoe is a goddess in the body of a wolf. The wolf itself is gone, though Melinoe is not bound to the body. She leaves the body during the day, under the Elm.
