Shade

Stone and Shade were the first pups born in this new land. Unlike their parents and packmates who come from all different walks of life, Stone and Shade would be raised here in the shelter of the jagged rock that juts out from the mountainside to make the nursery. Stone and Shade would not be heirs with breeding rights, but Ash and Blizzard knew they would play important roles in the pack.

Shade, despite being born second seemed to come first in his parents eyes. Even as a pup he was capable, catching rats in the sheltered cave where pups were raised. 

His littermate Stone was slain in the fight for Owl's revenge.
