Formerly of High Mountain
Named for walking a literally difficult path- they hunted the treacherous high-altitude mountain paths- and for walking a figuratively difficult one- remaining loyal to the nobility when most hunters did not. Walker's name is a mild source of shame for them sometimes-- it turns out that difficulty wasn't worth it.
A former High Mountain wolf. From a line of hunters, they were a loyalist who followed their king into exile.
This loyalty was rewarded only by further demands for service (the High Mountain nobility saw being a servant as Walker's natural role; no more worthy of reward or remark than a road should be thanked for lying down and letting cars drive over it).
Walker grew gradually disillusioned with their birth pack; living so close to the nobility revealed how unworthy of worship they really were.
When the schism opened between Sanctuary and High Mountain wolves, Walker sided with Sanctuary, and was allowed to remain after the exile of their pack.
