During the lesson:Bloodlust felt that he was almost ready to try a real hunt and begged Nightshine to let him. She listened and explained that no matter how talented a pup may be, everyone had to train until they were old enough to move on.
Even as a puppy, he was more violent than the rest. Always wanting to kill prey, wrestling roughly with other pups. Most were concerned but Warcry just encouraged him, saying he would make a great war captain since he was fearless and strong. His father didn't seem to care much although he was a bit concerned his pup would be a villain. Especially with a name like Bloodlust which suits the pup well. He is still young, maybe he will grow out of it?
He is part of the Legacy hunting party, led by his old mentor Nightshine, daughter of the legendary chaser known as Nightshade. Finally he gets to join that hunt. Although Bloodlust is very reckless, going more for dealing damage than keeping the party safe or even himself. He would gladly get hurt if it meant he could do more damage to the opponent. Which makes him terrifying. Almost like fighting someone with nothing to lose. Fighting someone whose sole mission is to kill no matter the cost.
When the Shadowkin waged war for the leadership of Silverfell, the Anarchists stayed on the sidelines. Bloodlust wanted to join the fray but hasn't decided on a side. His mother wouldn't let him go. Saying it was a destiny battle. Whatever that means. Perhaps he would've joined the Shadowkin if they weren't a bunch of pushovers. That Sylus though, what an opponent he would be. He's not afraid to get his paws bloodied. He saw who killed Rust, doesn't seem anyone else did. As a killer himself he will not snitch.
When his mother died he wasn't sure what to do. She wasn't exactly a leader but she was the founder of the anarchists pack and the representative. She basically kept the Anarchists from ruining the way of life of other packs and let the anarchists live how they want. But now Bloodlust is free to do his own thing.
The Shadowkin are leading peacefully. Chance died and the Anarchy pack is dwindling. Soon there will not be enough to keep the Anarchy pack going. What if he caused a war? How many wolves can he fight? Bloodlust is the opposite of strategic but he knew he would get swarmed immediately. He wants to fight Sylus though. Sylus seems powerful yet avoids him. Is he afraid? He shouldn't be, he showed so much bravery in the battle! He's definitely fast too! Bloodlust just wants to spar with him more now.
This strange creature with a skull for a head follows him. Few seem to be able to see it. It creeps behind him at all times as if waiting to pounce. He has heard of it before, a Barghest, omen of death. But whom is it warning? Perhaps Bloodlust will become a Barghest? Sounds like a better afterlife than void or stars. An omen of death is what Bloodlust aspires to be.
