Impressed by the young pups natural talent, Razael brought Remus into The Kin to train under him. The leader made it seem like this was a good thing, but Remus would say otherwise. They grew up apart from the other young wolves in the pack and trained relentlessly alongside their adopted fathers. Razael made sure he could fight while Dumat taught him to interpret different signs in the stars. Remus never complained under the pressure of their commands, but they had no joy in their upbringing either. The closest wolf they ever had time to be with was Zazikel, another adolescent who was being brought up by the two leading wolves. Neither of them were quite normal and by no means was their friendship a typical one, but it was all they had.
