Chosen by the Gods to guard the precious Moonroses, Starlight had never wanted such a huge responsibility. He had his pack to think of after all, and with the wars that were raging on, well, why should he focus on anything but their safety?
To anger the Gods was unwise however, a lesson that was hard learned by his brother. He had foolishly hunted the Sun Stag, the favored animal of the god Cernunnos, and was burned to ash from the inside out after he began eating his kill.
While Starlight wanted nothing more than to hunt and enjoy life with his pack, to anger the Gods was unwise. To thank him and his pack, the Moon granted him the Dream Sight and the Sun granted he and his pack longevity. Dream Sight is a powerful thing, the ability to see things that will be, glimpses of the future of his pack that are destined to happen no matter what.
He can only hope that he can lead his pack to the satisfaction of the Gods but also to the pack's safest future.
