"Okay, we have seven bighorns, a caribou, fifteen rats, twelve beavers...."
This wolf hovers next to a stockpile of carcasses in a chilly underground burrow. She is very small in stature for an adult; you're fairly sure that she must have been the runt of her litter. And yet, she has several faint scars consistent with the life of a huntress, and she carries herself with the confidence of a highly responsible wolf. From her bearing and the white markings on her pelt, you suppose that this wolf is probably a member of the leader's family.
Amonute was the last-born and smallest pup from Tikaani's first litter with Conoco, a scout from Wapiti Run. Tikaani did not realize that she was carrying pups until well after she returned from her visit to Wapiti Run, so Amonute and her two littermates did not meet their father until a few weeks into their puppyhood. When they finally did meet, Amonute formed an immediate attachment to her father. Apparently, so did her trouble-making brother Susquehanna, because he decided to follow Conoco home after the family parted ways. From then on, Susquehanna lived in Wapiti Run, and Amonute and Utchunquoyes stayed with their mother in Shenandoah. Regular visits ensured that the siblings remained fairly close, however.
From puppyhood, Amonute wanted to help with any task that seemed important to the pack's survival. While not overly serious, she was certainly somewhat mature for her age as a youngling, and she often chastised pups her age whenever they decided to cause unnecessary trouble. She was infinitely proud when her grandmother Tanana introduced her to Pheasant, the lead huntress. Pheasant was happy to delegate the task of keeping track of the pack's prey inventory to little Amonute when she'd barely begun to grow into her paws.
Please Note: For roleplay and lore purposes, the wolf referred to as this pup's father is Conoco. The actual in-game stud responsible for this pup's genetic makeup is Dioute.
