She looks soft but she's malicious. Squad Luminous is seriously aggressive, y'all. It's unbelievable that they all get along.
During the lesson: Prey will not necessarily be easy to take down even once they are caught, so Asterlyn decided it was time for some strength training for Liané. She gripped as tightly as she could to Asterlyn's back while she shook and thrashed as much as she could to try and loosen Liané's grip. (Liané's malicious and she's not scared of hurting her mom. I nearly feel bad for Asterlyn — the keyword being
almost since Asterlyn encourages Liané's brutality. Honestly, Liané could've been a finisher in another life.)
During the lesson: Liané almost dozed off during a lecture on herb habitats and moisture requirements. Asterlyn grumpily told her to take a break, even though it was a fascinating topic in her opinion. (Apparently she learns better in action lmao. Training Liané must be seriously difficult, but Asterlyn totally deserves it for being a brat in her youth, too.)
During the lesson: Leaves? Rocks? Underbrush? Twisted tree stump? Eroded slope? Liané learned to use any environment and its features to camouflage successfully. (Woah, a lesson without possible implications of violence? That's incredible, Liané!)
During the lesson: Not only was the nesting material important, but the right spot and the right time matter, too. Liané learned how to choose wisely and save a lot of time. (Again, no obvious violence. Is Liané getting bored of terrorizing mummy?)
During the lesson: Liané learned being the fastest isn't always the only necessary factor of success. Asterlyn explained basic methods of fooling a potential prey or a pursuer. (Oh, Liané must've been pissed when Asterlyn outsmarted her.)
During the lesson: A cluster of rodent burrows was a great practice zone for today's class. Liané was able to stalk a mouse or two, but instead of killing it, Asterlyn instructed her to let it go after presenting it. (Liané did indeed let the rodent go. She just made sure it was bleeding ferociously instead.)
During the lesson: Niraj lost his way and panicked for a while but was able to use Copse's advice and tips to find his way again. Even the most experienced scouts can get lost sometimes, and it was nothing to be ashamed of. (For convenience sake, Liané and Niraj had their pathfinding lessons together; only, Niraj {with it being his first time out of camp} panicked and got lost. Rather than relishing in his fear, Liané actually
tracked him down. Copse found Niraj sniffling into Liané's fur, which made an... interesting, yet relieving, sight.)
Ever since the pathfinding incident, Niraj has been following Liané around like a duckling. It baffles Asterlyn and Huāzaeleas (who are merely acquaintances despite hunting together nearly every day), but Liané absolutely adores the attention. The huntress spoils Niraj. As strange as it is, PSCI is just glad that their legacies are getting along, and that Liané's new pastime is lacking in malicious intent.
