During the lesson: Niraj lost his way and panicked for a while but was able to use Copse's advice and tips to find his way again. Even the most experienced scouts can get lost sometimes, and it was nothing to be ashamed of. (Oh no! And on his first training session, too. Though something surprisingly good did come out of it...)
During the lesson: Niraj caught sight of a bushy gray tail darting under a bush and acted quickly under Huāzaeleas's watchful gaze. He only managed to catch a clump of gray fur from the squirrel, but his speed was improving!
During the lesson: Some plants have healing properties, others can make you sick. Niraj learned about common mistakes in recognizing herbs, and found he had a natural talent for it. (Pff, he just loves Pasadena, that's what it is. Oh, I bet Liané's jealous. Though Niraj being able to heal is exceptionally fitting; spirits know that LSLI will need it.)
During the lesson: A cluster of rodent burrows was a great practice zone for today's class. Niraj was able to stalk a mouse or two, but instead of killing it, Huāzaeleas instructed him to let it go after presenting it. (And unlike Liané, he actually let it go.)
During the lesson: Today Asterlyn led Niraj to a place where hiding spots were not so obvious. Niraj had to think out of the box to outsmart Asterlyn. (He failed. Hūazaeleas would've taught him, but Asterlyn was insistent that she teach this lesson herself. Predators are dangerous, knowing to hide is important, and Hūazaeleas doesn't push Niraj hard enough.)
Adorably enough, Liané actually served as this boy's scouting mentor. Asterlyn and Guidonis (and sometimes Janácze) guided his first hunts.
